Hmm. I get both points of view. I think when it comes down to it, it can be rude to make fun of a stranger’s religion. But it can also be rude to assume a stranger wants you at their door, trying to convert them. In the end, there will always be people who make obscene hand&tongue gestures at me when I tell them I’m a lesbian, and there will always be people who make fun of devoutly religious people by singing and dancing in front of them.
