So there are two things I’ve wondered for awhile that have never produced much when I Googled them, and neither are important, but I felt like asking you guys! Here they are:
1. In All-American Prophet, there’s the line, “We’re following him to Paradise, we call ourselves ‘Mormen’” - Is “Mormen” a real world? If so, what is the definition? If not, what’s the joke? I’d get it, maybe, if “Mormon” was spelled “Morman” and so, plural would be “Mormen”? lol.
2. I know a few people have pointed out that Rule 72 is not the number of the rule that forbids a missionary to leave the company of his companion (except the bathroom), it’s actually mainly Rule 35 as well as Rules 60-73. But I get that “sev-en-ty-two” fits well in the songs. But does anyone know anything about why Elder McKinley sites Rule 23 as the rule about not leaving the living quarters after 9PM, when it’s mainly Rule 16, 27 and 37?
