Today is why I drive with these bumper stickers! I was on my way to work, and I noticed a car was fighting with me to get ahead on the road, and normally I’m real bitchy about that, but I let her go ahead, whatever, but then she did and just stayed a car’s length ahead of me and I saw that she had TWO Obama stickers! Then stopped at the next light, and I looked over to her to smile, and I do, and she SMILED BACK AND GAVE ME AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOD. Like, “You and I are on the same side - I might actually also be a lesbian” kind of nod.
I couldn’t trace the actual origin of this, but its obviously some SF Pride parade, judging by the Market Street street signs in the background.

Hey guys. I’m writing this to anyone out there who sees this. I’m feeling really down after a week of the silent treatment from my parents over this bumper sticker magnet that I made for when I drive the car. My mom says that, “people don’t like to talk about sex publicly.” I tried to argue that Gay Pride is not just about sex. She asked me how, and I blanked. I know it’s not, because of reasons I can FEEL, you know? But what do I say to that sort of argument?

I forgot to post these! I got these four lovely Book of Mormon badges FREE from the SHN booth at Pride a couple weeks ago!! I’ve stuck them on my denim jacket, over my heart! :D I was SO SUPER stoked to get them, and free, as they’re mega expensive from the looks of it. They didn’t have any Turn It Off buttons though…do you think they were popular and all gone or do you think, since it was PRIDE, they didn’t put them out?
