Which book will change my life? Har har. I now have both the book and sheet music for the show! YAY.
I just sat and read through the entire book. It’s fun to see what’s in between the songs and what was changed by the actors. Between both the book and the music, one of my favourite things is how Trey&Bobby&Matt describe things. Like the book describes the transition of the end of “I Believe” with “Very serious Les Misérables “Look Down” -style music starts to play…” lolol, and their tempo descriptions in the music: like for “Hello!” it’s described at “Relentlessly cheerful” or the solo in “Spooky Mormon Hell Dream” is, “à la Metallica”.
